The Duchy of Tekasara is the southern- and easternmost duchy in the Kingdom of Naraka. It consists of twenty-eight counties commonly thought to be part of the State of Texas. The capital of Tekasara is Rizosotono (Houston), since that is where the Duke works (even if he doesn't live there). Other large cities in Tekasara are Veko (Waco) and Renarariroso (Amarillo).

Tekasara is bordered on the northwest by the Duchy of Karasareto and the State of New Mexico; and on the southwest and northeast (and every other direction) by the State of Texas.

The Duchy of Tekasara is subject to the laws of Naraka even though it is still a fairly short list of rules.

Duke Nesini has had a statue built in his honor along I-45 north of Rizosotono. However, Nesini doesn't think it looks much like himself, so he had the sculptor executed.

The Official Weatherman of Tekasara is Marquis Tene (who sometimes goes by the name "Tiro"). So drop him a line if you want him to send you quasi-daily weather updates.

The official symbol of Tekasara is the Ducal Scepter (a.k.a. Nesini's wristpad). Ignorant peasants had better not insult him or else he will follow the Laws of Naraka and beat you about the head and shoulders with it.

The official animal of the Duchy of Tekasara is the anti-dog. The nobles of Tekasara had a vote, and the only thing they could agree on was that the Ducal Animal should not be a dog. There were a few votes for cats, but the Anti-Dog won. There has even now been talk of dog as the National Food of Naraka, even though only one of us has eaten it, maybe.

The northwestern seven counties of the Duchy are grouped into the Region of Renarariroso.

The Rete River intermittently runs through the middle of the Region of Zirotorisi. Other than that, it's a fairly empty region.

The Region of Veko is the more populous central region in the Duchy of Tekasara.

The furthest southeast region of Naraka is also includes the captial city, Rizosotono.

As for the various unbestowed counties, Nesini is temporarily the Count of them, but His Majesty is sure that Nesini will soon find loyal subjects to fill those positions. Help him out by asking the Duke to make you a full-fledged noble!
