The Duchy of Karasareto, while being the central duchy in the Kingdom of Naraka, is both the largest duchy by area and the smallest duchy by population. It consists of nineteen counties commonly thought to be part of the States of Colorado, Wyoming, New Mexico, and Oklahoma. The capital of Karasareto is Vavevoro (Pueblo), since that is the only city of any size in the Duchy.

Karasareto is bordered on the northwest by the Duchy of Vasinotono and the State of Idaho; on the southeast by the Duchy of Tekasara and the State of Texas; on the southwest by the States of Utah, Wyoming, Colorado, and New Mexico; and on the northeast by the States of Wyoming, Colorado, Kansas, and Oklahoma.

The Duchy of Karasareto is subject to the laws of Naraka even though there aren't really any nobles there to enforce them.

Karasareto used to be run by Duke Sotivi, who carries the Ducal symbol of Karoreto: a sword. It is a real sword (Japanese style) -- just ask the Duke's couch! He is allowed to beat anyone with it if they insult him. Sotivi enjoys this law since it is pleasantly open-ended.

Karasareto's current ruler, however, is Duchess Rana, who "asked politely" for Sotivi to give her his Duchy. We've yet to see where her hunger for power will take her.

The northern five counties of Karoreto are grouped together into the Region of Rakavorinozo. It's a big place.

The Region of Karevorinozo is a mountainous area in central Karasareto. It has many famous ski areas.

The capital of Karasareto is located within the Region of Vavevoro.

The Region of Torinorotese is the southernmost part of Karasareto. It is culturally a colony of Vasinotono, however.
